FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tom Reed has received the endorsement of the Laborers International Union of North America for his work defending hard working Americans in New York’s 23rd District. “I ran for Congress because I wanted to help create jobs in the private sector and protect hard working Americans,” said Tom Reed. “I am honored to have the support of the Laborers International Union of North America.”
David Marsh on behalf of the Laborers’ International Union of North America cited the need for a representative that cares about the workers of New York who also fights for fair policies addressing energy infrastructure needs as the basis for the endorsement.
“We are happy to support Congressman Reed because of his focus on job creation and support of infrastructure,” said David Marsh, Business manager of Laborers’ Local 785 on behalf of Laborers’ International Union of North America. “Tom gets things done for the community. We are proud that he has an all the above approach to energy – that means more jobs for upstate New York.”
“Tom is fighting for our workers and that is why the Laborers’ International Union of North America has chosen to endorse him,” stated Amy Hasenberg, Tom Reed for Congress Spokeswoman. “Tom is making sure our workers have a fair shot because New York always comes first.”
