Our energy challenge is both an economic issue and a national security issue. Tom supports taking advantage of domestic energy resources to reduce our short-term dependence on Middle East oil.

Tom is working to stop government policies that are driving up energy prices. He is also working to expand American energy production to lower costs, as well as create more jobs. He is promoting an ‘all of the above’ strategy to increase all forms of American energy.

Long-term, we must develop a comprehensive, national plan that leads us towards energy independence and clean, renewable energy from domestic sources. This includes alternatives such as nuclear, wind, solar, biomass, and hydrogen.

Manufacturing jobs can return if we harness domestic resources to lower utility costs. Good-paying jobs and careers are directly tied to lowering production costs here at home.
