REED PROTECTS OUR GUN RIGHTS
Tom Reed stops at Bullseye Shooter’s Supply on his “Working and Listening Tour”
Painted Post- Tom Reed knows how to handle firearms and now he knows the struggles of owning and operating a sporting goods store. “Gun ownership is a constitutionally guaranteed right under the Second Amendment. I am dedicated to protecting it,” said Tom Reed. “It’s family owned and operated businesses like, Bullseye Shooter’s Supply, which are the backbone of our economy. They are the small businesses that suffer when Obama and Democrats in Congress try to restrict our gun rights. It’s only fair that we fight to protect our rights and jobs.”
Reed spent Tuesday afternoon at Bullseye Shooter’s Supply, in Painted Post, with Owner Jeff Jones, to better understand the day-to-day operations of a firearm supply store. While helping stock shelves and learning about the procedure to purchase firearms, Reed and Jones discussed how Governor Cuomo and President Obama’s attempts to restrict gun ownership have impacted the business.
“I am proud to have Tom Reed come to our family store because he has never stopped fighting for our rights,” stated Jeff Jones, Owner of Bullseye Shooter’s Supply. “It’s nice to see a member of Congress not only say where they stand on the issues, but to actually be out showing it, especially on an issue like gun rights. Tom was the first candidate in New York State to sign the anti-SAFE Act pledge. This is just one example of Tom making sure our voices are always heard.”
“Tom has repeatedly stood up to Clinton, Cuomo, and DC John Plumb’s liberal, anti-gun agenda that infringes on our rights,” said Amy Hasenberg, Tom Reed for Congress Spokeswoman. “Tom has proven he cares about our rights and he will keep fighting for us as he always has.”
