Tom Reed for Congress today announced that the New York State Independence Party has endorsed Tom Reed in his campaign for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.
The endorsement speaks to Tom Reed’s commitment to bringing people together to get things done for hardworking families throughout the Southern Tier, Finger Lakes and Western New York.
“Tom Reed is a common-sense leader who is standing with us and remaining accessible to all of his constituents,” said Frank MacKay, chairman of the New York State Independence Party. “We have supported Tom in his four previous races for Congress and we are proud to endorse him again this year.”
“It is an honor to receive the endorsement of the New York State Independence Party,” said Tom Reed. “During my time in Congress, I have worked to seek unity and common ground solutions for the issues facing our communities. Together we will continue to fight to improve the lives of the hardworking families across our district.”
Tom Reed is standing with us as the Representative for New York’s 23rd Congressional District, comprised of the Southern Tier, Finger Lakes and Western New York, in Congress. He serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means, the chief tax-writing committee, and is co-chair of the Problem Solver’s Caucus, a bipartisan group of dozens of members of Congress working to forge bipartisan cooperation on key issues.
