Support for Tom Reed Grows
Campaign surpasses $1.1 million in the bank and files nearly 6,000 petition signatures
Tom Reed’s campaign announced today it closed the first quarter of 2018 with $1.1 million in the bank and has secured the Republican, Conservative, and Independence Party ballot lines this November.
“We are deeply grateful to our neighbors who invested both their time and hard-earned money to get us to this point,” said Tom Reed. “The hundreds of volunteers who have contributed to our success allow us to stand with the hardworking families that our team cares about.”
In addition to closing the quarter with $1,103,022 cash on hand, the Reed campaign also filed nearly 6,000 signatures collected by hundreds of volunteers to qualify for the Republican, Conservative and Independence Party ballot lines in the upcoming election.
“Our campaign continues to build grassroots support and financial strength,” said Nicholas Weinstein, Campaign Manager for Tom Reed for Congress. “Our strong financial quarter and growing volunteer base show that Tom’s common-sense agenda is working for families across the Southern Tier, Finger Lakes and Western New York. While we are fighting for fair policies that benefit our district, our Extreme Ithaca Liberal opponents continue to move further out of touch by embracing an extreme agenda.”
Tom Reed is standing with us as the Representative for New York’s 23rd Congressional District, comprised of the Southern Tier, Finger Lakes and Western New York, in Congress. He serves on the House Committee on Ways and Means, the chief tax-writing committee, and is co-chair of the Problem Solver’s Caucus, a bipartisan group of dozens of members of Congress working to forge bipartisan cooperation on key issues.
